Bach: St. John Passion 巴赫: 聖約翰受難曲
2014年1月11日（六）晚上七時三十分 拔萃男書院 葉傑全音樂廳 Saturday January 11, 2014 19:30 Yip Kit Chuen Concert Hall, Diocesan Boys’ School 一七二三年，三十八歲的巴赫剛抵達萊比錫便隨即創作《聖約翰受難曲》，並於翌年耶穌受難日首演。劃時代的樂章震撼了萊比錫，普羅大眾無法完全接受，巴赫亦只好妥協作出修改。原版本於二十五年後才能重演，惟此時年邁的巴赫已近乎失明，不久便撒手塵寰。香港和聲聯同香港青唱及一眾新進的本地歌唱家，為觀眾重現這首驚世之作，只此一場，萬勿錯過。 In 1723, 38 year-old Bach arrived at Leipzig and assumed his duty as the Cantor of St. Thomas Church, a post he held until his death in 1750.
